This tag is for meta-level tasks about documentation. For issues about specific documentation pages avoid this tag. Instead, report those tasks to the component the documentation is about.

D'oh! Yup, this would do nothing for those extensions.
I'm not sure i agree this is a good idea. Not all extensions documented on mw.org are installed on mw.org, and the point of Special:trackingcategories is it should reflect on wiki customization.

I think more went inactive generally than gave up on this specific issue. But still, we really need to do better here.
