git bisect says this was caused by T367394: REST: Stop using getParamSettings for body parameters / rMW2b31f4c46ff8: param-settings: Remove backward compatibility code from default.

Triaging this as high, since this is adding quite a few old pages into the queue. @jsn.sherman could y'all take a look at the linked patch :)

I suspect the fix is to move the handler definition code into a ::getBodyParamSettings definition.

This is indeed a regression caused by the linked patch, however, I'm a bit uneasy fixing this due to the existence of T159028 (cc @Pppery who mentioned this in the NPP Discord). Maybe we could get a consensus that implementing T159028 is no longer desirable?

Checked in beta - works as expected.

Perhaps related to some REST framework refactoring in core.

This should have gotten resolved by today's deployment pulling and deploying the 2024.19 upstream version. If not, please comment.

Glad to see progress on this, I don't know if this is already clear from the findings above but the problem only occurs on WMC but not Wikipedia or Wikidata. For example, open the WP & WD file uses of this file which can open and rotate the skeleton, while one can't do so from W.Commons. Maybe Wikidata doesn't work for some users either as reported here but it did work the times I tried it.

Phab tasks are now being loaded correctly in the form.
