About Me

Hola! I'm a wife, mom, and lifelong Disney fan. To pass the time between magical vacations, I teach middle school Spanish, train for runDisney races, read fantasy novels, and spend time with my family. Like Belle, I want adventure in the great wide somewhere. So far, my adventures have taken me to 47 states and 16 countries, but nothing brings me joy like exploring the Disney Parks and Resorts with the people I love. 

About My Family

My husband and I have been married since 2009, and we made our first Walt Disney World visit together that same year. After experiencing my infectious passion and excitement for the Disney Parks, he became an avid Disney Parks fan as well. Years later our family has grown to include our young son and daughter who are always looking forward to our next Disney vacation. We have varying capacities for thrills, but our favorite attractions to experience as a family are Pirates of the Caribbean, Soarin’, and Spaceship Earth. We are also Disney Vacation Club members and use our membership to try a new resort each year. My Disney Skyliner-obsessed children like Disney’s Riviera Resort best (my son’s #1 tip for this resort is not to miss the banana bread!) and my husband and I like the location and rustic elegance of the Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Whether we’re roadtripping along the west coast or visiting family in the Sunshine State, we always manage to fit a Disney Resort stay into our itinerary.

About My Disney Experience

I have been visiting Walt Disney World since I was a baby, but the first sign of my unique Disney fandom occurred when I was only seven years old. We had just returned from a family vacation at the brand-new (at the time) Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. My parents had been reading Birnbaum's Walt Disney World: The Official Guide to my sister and me months before the trip as they made plans. After the trip, I wrote a letter to the editors expressing my thanks and offering advice for future editions of the guidebook. I still have the response we received from the editors as a memento and first sign that Disney would always be an important part of my life. I enjoy all four of the major theme parks at Walt Disney World, but Epcot is my favorite place to spend a day. I have also visited the Disneyland Resort in California, and my ultimate Disney goal is to visit the Tokyo Disney Resort. I can't wait to help you make magical memories on your Disney Parks adventures!
