On my experience app I have added an infant, but cannot add them to the day planner for each park since they do not have a ticket. Do I need to do this for Park entrance and reservations for dining?

    Hi Karen!

Welcome back to planDisney!  I'm so glad you stopped by with a great question about visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a little Mouseketeer.  I still remember the first visits for each of my older boys and am excitedly counting down to the first visit for my youngest later this year.  If you're looking for a great souvenir purchase that will also be a terrific keepsake, I suggest picking up a pair of customized Mickey ears during your trip.

Karen, infants and toddlers under the age of three are considered special guests of Mickey.  While you are welcome to set up a profile for an infant in your My Disney Experience account, they do not require a theme park ticket and therefore won't show on some of your park plans.  No worries though - they'll be able to enter the park just fine!  If your family plans to purchase any Lightning Lane passes during your vacation, you also do not need to worry about purchasing anything for your infant as they'll be allowed to enter attractions they can enjoy with you.  When it comes to dining, you will want to include your infant in your party size on any reservations you have for Table-Service restaurants.  This will allow Cast Members to ensure that your table has enough space to accommodate the whole family.  If you have a chance to dine at Chef Mickey's, I highly recommend it!  I hope your little one will love interacting with Mickey and his pals here as much as my boys have over the years!

While you're in the parks, you may find the Baby Care Centers a welcome break from the heat and humidity of the day.  We traveled to Walt Disney World Resort with my middle son during the summer when he was just five months old.  The Baby Care Centers gave us a place to cool off and offered a spacious, more relaxing space to change a diaper.  I also found the nursing rooms quiet and comfortable at feeding times.  Baby Care Centers are located inside each theme park and are open throughout the day.

Karen, I hope your family enjoys a wonderful visit and makes many magical memories!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop by planDisney and see us again!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
