Disney Military Salute ticket is a wonderful perk to our community, and as a retired Veteran, you do qualify to purchase them! Unfortunately, the sponsor or their spouse are the only ones permitted to activate them at Guest Relations (located at all four theme parks), or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.
I suggest looking at purchasing the Magic Your Way tickets through
Shades of Green Resort. With this option, you won't have to be present, because these tickets are already activated. Fill out their
Advance Ticket Form Request, and email it to
[email protected]. A Ticket Representative will contact you for military status verification and your form of payment. Just like the Salute tickets, you will have to make Theme Park Pass Reservations before entering any of the theme parks. Once the tickets are uploaded to your
My Disney Experience mobile app, you can make those reservations.
September is a fun time to visit, with the Halloween season right around the corner!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separate ticketed event inviting Happy Haunts of all ages to partake in an evening of ghoulish delights! You can purchase tickets for this frightful fest with a military discount also through Shades of Green Resort! Over at EPCOT, enjoy dining around the world in the various Global Marketplaces at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. For a fun challenge, participate in Emile's Fromage Montage, dining on various cheese dishes from around the world!
