It's a fun game, if you can ignore the part where it's really just a massive cash grab. It's genuinely fun to play, but you have to be willing to either stand very firm on your policy of "don't spend money" or be willing to spend literal hundreds of dollars for virtual trading card packs. It's a fairly standard "build your city" sim otherwise, plus dragons. Additionally, sometimes when watching an ad to earn a reward, after you watch the ad the game just closes instead of giving the reward.

it's a fun game overall. i wish it was a bit less pay-to-win. technically you can get almost every dragon without spending a dime, but realistically, you won't be able to. i wish the progression was a bit better as well: sometimes you get incredibly OP dragons that you're clearly only supposed to get at a higher level and it makes it pointless to actually try to get dragons at your level. it's one thing to work hard and earn one in an event, it's another to randomly get one in a daily card pack.

It's genuinely such a frustrating game. I love HTTYD but this is just made out of greed and its so evident by the fact that they ask *100* real dollars, that you can use on groceries, rent, or a better game (thats finished and balanced), for ONE of the legendary dragons. That is insane pricing. The brawl pvp mode is also super imbalanced. At higher levels you basically have no chance of winning if you don't use the same three dragons everyone else uses. I could go on. I wish it was better.
