Every day at Spatial, we strive to build a platform that embraces the message "You Belong," welcoming diverse creators, businesses and communities from around the globe. Which is why I'm honored to highlight the remarkable team at Café Joyeux, who recently opened their first digital café on Spatial 💛. This initiative aims to raise awareness and understanding of their mission to empower and provide opportunities for individuals with mental and cognitive disabilities. In the U.S., over 8 million people have intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD), and currently, 80% are unemployed. Café Joyeux is dedicated to addressing this disparity and promoting inclusion in the workplace. With over 19 locations across Europe, they proudly opened their first American Café Joyeux in New York at the beginning of 2024. I am personally excited to continue supporting local heroes like the team at Café Joyeux. By leveraging immersive technology for good, I truly believe we can work together to build a more inclusive and understanding world.
