Our Services are not intended for children, as defined under applicable law. Children may not provide any information to or on the Services.   • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Services. This includes information collected when you contact us, request demos, request a SafetyPlusWeb App, register for SafetyPlusWeb, register employees for training, request quotes, subscribe to our Software Features & Benefits email newsletter, request case studies, submit a support request, or submit a SafetyPlusWeb referral form. This information may include your name, company name and address, job title, partner industry, browser, device, email address, telephone number, Tax ID (FEIN) number, job location, log-in area, information related to how you heard about us, email address, telephone number, the subject and contents of your messages, any files you choose to upload, employee names and last 4 digits of employee social security numbers, drug screen and background check authorization forms, and referral information (including prospect’s name, company, job title, email address, telephone number, and information related to what you discussed with the prospect).
  • Information that you provide when you make a purchase.
  • Information that you provide when you apply for employment with Safety Plus or join the Safety Plus Staffing Network. This information may include your resume, cover letter, relevant experience, references, current location, and ability to relocate.
  • Information that you provide when you use our Apps. This information may include your name, hire date, department, supervisor, ID card, photo, email address, birthdate, gender, employee ID #, company ID, employee PIN, job title, telephone number, information related to next of kin, address, driver’s license number, state, and expiration date, classifications, qualifications, training history, notes, warnings, information related to inspections and audits, information related to injury and vehicle incidents, and results of drug tests.
  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  • Details of your use of our Services, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Services.
  • Information about your computer, mobile device, and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, browser type, and the device’s unique device identifier.

We also may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services (behavioral tracking). • Promotional Offers from Safety Plus. If you do not wish to have your information used by Safety Plus to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by sending us an email stating your request to [email protected]. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions, or click “unsubscribe” in the relevant communication. This opt out does not apply to information provided to Safety Plus as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience, or other transactions.

• Targeted Advertising. We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads (including ads served using non-cookie technologies) from members of the NAI on the NAI’s website, available at: https://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1. You can also visit the Digital Advertising Alliance’s website, available at https://youradchoices.com/, to use its Consumer Choice Tools.

Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to this designated address: [email protected]. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.

Accessing And Correcting Your Information

We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your account. Your Canadian Privacy Rights

Safety Plus and its data servers are located in the United States.

Sending personal information outside of Canadian borders may increase the risk of disclosure of information because the laws in the destination country dealing with protection of information may not be as strict as in Canada. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you consent to allow your personal information to be transferred outside of Canada to Safety Plus for processing in the United States in order that we may provide you with the services requested.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access your information (including the right to access your information in an electronic format and the right to an account of the use that has been made or is being made of the information and the third parties to which it has been disclosed), or update or correct your information (including, where applicable, the right to obtain deletion of any personal information collected otherwise than according to law), at any time upon request. If you have provided your consent to the processing of your personal information, you have the right to fully or partly withdraw your consent. Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your information for the purpose(s) to which you originally consented unless there is another legal ground for the processing.

Right To Opt Out Of Sale

In the past twelve months, we have shared the following categories of information with advertising networks, affiliates, app store platforms, customer relationship management platforms, data analytics providers, social networks, tag management systems, and video sharing platforms, which could be considered a “sale” under California law:

Personal identifiers, characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law, commercial information, Internet and other electronic network activity information, geolocation data, and inferences drawn from any of the information identified above to create a profile about you.

While we do not sell personal information in exchange for any monetary consideration, we do share personal information for other benefits that could be deemed a “sale,” as defined by the CCPA. The CCPA broadly defines “sale” in a way that may include actives such as the delivery of targeted advertising on websites or allowing third parties to receive certain information, such as cookies, IP address, and/or browsing behavior.

If you are a California resident and would like to opt out of our use of your information for such purposes (to the extent this is considered a sale), you may modify your cookie settings. California residents may also turn on the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in participating browser systems to opt out of the “sale” of your personal information in that browser. We have no actual knowledge of selling the personal information of minors under 16 years of age.

In order to process your request, we will need to verify your identity and residency by matching certain personal information you provide with information we have on file, including your first name, last name, email address, telephone number, and address. The personal information that we use to verify your identity and residency will not be used for any other purpose.

Non-Discrimination

California residents have the right to not receive discriminatory treatment by exercising CCPA privacy rights. We do not discriminate against California residents who exercise their CCPA privacy rights.
