Neftalí O. Soto (born February 28, 1989) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball first baseman for the Chiba Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds and in NPB for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars .

Dec 15, 2023 · Puerto Rican first baseman Neftali Soto, who played for Yokohama DeNA BayStars in 2023, will join Chiba Lotte Marines for the 2024 Nippon Professional Baseball season. Soto, 34, has led NPB in home runs in two consecutive seasons and played for Puerto Rico in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
