The borough is 16 miles (26 km) south of Bethlehem and 29 miles (47 km) north of Philadelphia, making Quakertown a border town of both the Delaware Valley and Lehigh Valley metropolitan areas.

Quakertown, Pennsylvania is a town of approximately 9000 residents in the Northeast portion of Upper Bucks County, about 50 miles north of Philadelphia. The Borough encompasses approximately two square miles and has over 21 miles of roads.
Just across the street from the Visitor Center you'll find the home of the first Burgess of Quakertown. Suitable for tours, the home tells the story of the town's history and its people. Right around the corner on Broad Street lies Liberty Hall.
