Get to know Raimondo Taibi, a Product Designer here at BandLab Technologies. Originally from Sicily, and currently based in Bari, Italy, Raimondo has over 15 years of experience in UX/UI design and specializes in music tech, focusing on VSTs and music tools. His journey to BandLab began when he stumbled upon the platform and was immediately drawn to the company’s mission. Raimondo’s typical day starts with going through Jira tickets and Figma pages open, followed by meetings, and then back to work on tasks (unless some idea sparks in his mind and he drafts some R&D to show to colleagues). And of course, no Italian day is complete without multiple espresso breaks! “I have a real love for the music tech world and so I enjoy every single minute of the work that I do. The company vibe is incredibly chill and comfortable,” he says. “The Design team is incredible on all fronts. We’re a cohesive group of people with extreme passion for what we do. We craft every pixel with care and attention, with our users at the center of our brain power.” Over his nearly three years with BandLab, Raimondo has been instrumental in shaping the future of music creation. His proudest moments are witnessing power users evolve into influential music personalities. “We made music-making democratic for real,” he says. Outside of work, Raimondo has been a passionate musician, beatmaker, and producer even before his journey as a Product Designer.
