SATS Gateway Services Singapore operations outperformed 16 other stations in Asia to receive two special accolades from All Nippon Airways (ANA) for the Best Station for On-Time Performance (OTP) and Overall Divisional Performance in the Asia Pacific and Oceania regions. According to global aviation analytics firm Cirium, ANA is ranked the most on-time airline in Asia, based on data from over 302,279 flights. OTP compares an airline's timeliness to others based on its published schedule, which reflects the airline's reliability and customer satisfaction. ANA’s ability to stay on schedule is contingent on the quality of Changi Airport’s operations, as well as SATS’ skilled crew and strong operational coordination, and we are delighted to have contributed to ANA’s reputation for OTP. Thank you ANA for your trust and appreciation! Mr. Naoaki Takayanagi, General Manager for ANA Singapore visited SATS’ Terminal 1 Office in Singapore to present the Appreciation Award to Bob Chi, CEO of SATS Gateway Services, APAC. Here's to a continued fruitful collaboration! #ANA #OTP #SATSANA #GATEWAYServices

SATS Ltd. (SATS) today reported its unaudited results for the three months ended 30 June 2024 (1Q FY25). The company posted a S$65 million net profit on robust growth. Revenue grew 15.5% year-on-year to S$1.37B, driven by significant growth in air cargo volumes and continuing travel recovery. The company delivered annualised S$51M of the targeted S$100M of EBITDA synergies and the year-on-year EBITDA margin improved to 18.2% from 13.1% SATS expects positive momentum in the coming quarters. The acceleration of eCommerce, the shift to air cargo because of seaport congestion, and disruption in maritime shipping are expected to continue to underpin demand for air cargo services. According to IATA, global air cargo traffic is expected to grow by 5% in 2024, while global passenger traffic growth is projected at 11.6% in total revenue passenger kilometres (RPK) this year. Notably, Asia Pacific is leading the recovery, with the region expected to contribute half of the world’s RPK growth in 2024, particularly through its robust domestic markets. SATS remains confident to deliver on its commitments to improve financial performance, reduce debt, and strengthen the overall cash position. SATS is honoured to have topped the annual corporate governance scorecard in the General Category of the 2024 Singapore Governance and Transparency Index (SGTI). The SGTI, a prestigious annual assessment by CPA Australia, NUS Business School’s Centre for Governance and Sustainability, and the Singapore Institute of Directors, evaluates SGX-listed companies on their corporate governance and financial disclosure practices. The overall scoring system of the General Category comprises five areas: Board Responsibility, Rights of Shareholders, ESG and Stakeholders, Accountability and Audit, and Disclosure and Transparency, with adjustments to account for best and worst practices. We're excited to share that Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a member of the SATS Group, has started a three-month trial using HVO (Hydrotreated or Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil) biofuel in our airside transport fleet at Heathrow Airport. This supports SATS' ESG priorities and Heathrow's goal for zero-emission vehicles by 2030. The trial, using biofuel from Airport Energy, initially involves two vehicles. If successful, we aim to expand this across the rest of our vehicle fleet, enhancing sustainability efforts already underway, including our fully electric vans and Euro 6 compliant fleet. Paul Carmody, WFS UK Cargo MD, said: “This trial will help us determine biofuel suitability for our operations and support Heathrow’s sustainability goals.” To find out more: https://lnkd.in/ewR-jPWd #Sustainability #Biofuel #ESG #partnership
