There will be a first time winner of the Wimbledon women’s title when Barbora Krejcikova takes on Jasmine Paolini in the final later today. Both players fought back from losing the first set to edge their respective final sets in dramatic fashion.

Paolini beat Donna Vekic 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (10-8) in the longest women’s semi-final in Wimbledon history while Krejcikova defeated 2022 champion Elena Rybakina 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

It is the second grand slam final in seven weeks for Paolini, after she was a finalist at last month’s French Open.

“[It will be] a big fight,” Krejcikova said. “I know that Jasmine is a huge fighter and she showed today, but it will be the same from me. We are playing great tennis and it will be a great match on Saturday.”

What time will the women’s final take place?

The women’s final is on Saturday, July 13 at 2pm UK time.
