Join us in welcoming young adult author K.X. Song as she discusses and signs her debut novel, THE NIGHT ENDS WITH FIRE. Infused with magic and romance, this sweeping fantasy adventure inspired by the legend of Mulan follows a young woman determined to choose her own destiny—even if that means going against everyone she loves. K.X. will be in conversation with fantasy romance author Sarah Hawley.

HOW TO ATTEND

A ticket is required to attend this event! To make this event safe and enjoyable for all attendees, please read the below guidelines before RSVP'ing on Ticketleap, so you know what to expect on the day. 

This discussion is free to join. Attendees who wish to enter the signing following the discussion to meet the authors, take photos, and get books signed must purchase a copy of THE NIGHT ENDS WITH FIRE at Barnes & Noble Northgate. The special first edition hardcover will include a gorgeous, shimmering jacket with effects, brilliantly illustrated four-color endpapers, striking and detailed-stained edges, and a beautiful foil-stamped case.

When you arrive at the event, please head toward check-in to show your ticket confirmation to a bookseller. If you have purchased THE NIGHT ENDS WITH FIRE, you will be given a wristband, which will allow you entry into the singing. Seating is first come first serve, and standing room will be provided. If you require assistance, please let us know! We are happy to accommodate you. Parking at Northgate Station is plentiful and free for up to three hours. 

GUIDELINES

• Ticket holders will be admitted into the event space beginning at 4:30PM the day of the event. The event space will be closed before this time and seating may not be reserved until then. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check in. 
• Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted into the event space.
• Seating is first come first serve, and standing room will be provided. If you require assistance, please let us know! We are happy to accommodate you.
• K.X. Song and Sarah Hawley will sign and personalize copies of their books as well as pose for photos. A Barnes & Noble bookseller will be on hand to assist.
• Barnes & Noble reserves the right to make new rules and orders in its sole discretion with regard to COVID-19 at any time and any person not abiding by the Barnes & Noble directives will be refused entrance or directed to leave the premises.

ABOUT THE NIGHT ENDS WITH FIRE

The Three Kingdoms are at war, but Meilin’s father refuses to answer the imperial draft. Trapped by his opium addiction, he plans to sell Meilin for her dowry.
