The Northern Territory Government is working with industry and the Australian Government to transform Middle Arm into a sustainable ‘development ready’ industrial precinct with common user infrastructure.

The Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct will deliver long-term, community-wide benefits and safeguard the values of Darwin Harbour. Powered by renewables, the Precinct will:

• create thousands of jobs here in the Territory
• strengthen the economy and help fund essential services that Territorians rely on, such as hospitals, housing and schools
• develop gradually through a strong regulatory framework.

The project is currently in the early stages of master planning, concept design, and strategic environmental assessment to achieve better long-term project outcomes.
