Corey Perrine/Florida Times-Union

Seven Georgia Bulldogs in the NFL, including a pair of rookies, are ranked among ESPN’s top-150 players in fantasy football (using points per reception (PPR) scoring). Georgia has produced an elite of amount of NFL draft talent in recent years under head coach Kirby Smart. It would be hard to watch an NFL game these days without their being a former Georgia player on at least one team.

Georgia’s depth of talent in the NFL is apparent. Georgia has 16 former first-round picks in the NFLand could field a two-deep roster at every offensive or defensive position.

One of Georgia’s biggest positions of strength is running back. Georgia has a ton of talented running backs in the NFL including Buffalo Bills running back James Cook, who ranks among the top players in fantasy football. Former Georgia standout Zamir White is projected to start for the Las Vegas Raiders. White along with rookies Brock Bowers and Ladd McConkey are all looking to have breakout seasons.

Where do Georgia Bulldogs in the NFL rank in fantasy football?

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Ranking: No. 26

2023 Fantasy Points: 232.7 (No. 12 among running backs)

James Cook is a key cog in one of the best offenses in the NFL. Cook is the Bills’ top rusher and is a big threat in the passing game.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens

Philip G. Pavely-USA TODAY Sports

Ranking: No. 58

2023 Fantasy Points: 208.8

We think George Pickens could easily outperform this ranking. Pickens had the best year of his career in 2023 and should outpace that season with an upgrade at quarterback (Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are competing to be the Steelers’ starter).

Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White

Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

Ranking: No. 62

2023 Fantasy Points: 73.9

Zamir White could be given the keys to the Raiders’ offense in 2024 after the departure of running back Josh Jacobs. Las Vegas’ murky quarterback situation does limit the Raiders’ offensive ceiling.

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

Ranking: No. 64

2023 Fantasy Points: 199.3

Swift (previously in Philadelphia) goes from one favorable situation to another. The Chicago Bears should have one of the most improved offenses in the league in 2024. Look for Swift to be a big beneficiary of that.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Ranking: No. 96

2024 Projected Fantasy Points: 173.7

Ladd McConkey could be the Los Angeles Chargers’ top receiving option as a rookie. McConkey knows how to separate and has a good quarterback in Justin Herbert.

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb

Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

Ranking: No. 104

2023 Fantasy Points: 23.1

A severe leg injury derailed Nick Chubb’s 2023 season. Look for him to bounce back in 2024. Chubb could go down as one of the steals of fantasy drafts over the next couple of months.

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers

Candice Ward-USA TODAY Sports

Ranking: No. 122

2024 Projected Fantasy Points: 173.7

All Brock Bowers did at Georgia was produce. Bowers joins a Raiders team with a questionable quarterback situation, but he should be a rare rookie tight end that puts up big numbers in his first season in the NFL.
