We are proud to announce that we have received the Gold Award in the UK Ministry of Defence's Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) for our efforts to make AWE an employer of choice for anyone thinking about life after service.   Our CEO Nick Elliott CB MBE said: “AWE are proud signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant, so I am delighted that we have been awarded the Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award. "As a veteran myself, I fully recognise the contribution our Armed Forces personnel make to AWE and the UK’s wider nuclear endeavours. We fully support our 500-strong community of veterans, reservists and cadet volunteers and are committed to the spirit and principles of the Covenant.”   Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, Chief of the Defence Staff, said: “I congratulate AWE on becoming a Gold Award Employer.
