Last week Katie Lewis, Head of Operations and Katie Goldsmith, Guest Experience Host (and former Team Dominica supported intern) spoke at Team Domenica's event to share their experience of the scheme. Team Dominica provides innovate employment programmes to support young people with learning disabilities. The programmes are designed to help candidates develop independence, confidence and work skills to get them ready for employment. Brighton i360 are one of Team Dominica's most successful partners, working with several young people with the scheme. Over the years, we have onboarded permanent employees who have excelled in their role since joining through the programme, including Jack Kaski who is now one of our longest standing employees! The Designate crew had the pleasure of setting sail to the press launch of Brighton's newest nautical-themed hotspot - Seascape, taking cocktails to new heights. Seascape truly captures the essence of Brighton's vibrant seaside spirit! Located in Brighton i360 it's perched 450 feet above the waves with its 360-degree views.  Of course, we made sure to test out some of their masterfully crafted theatrical cocktails and let us tell you - they did not disappoint! It's the perfect place for celebrations, a night out with friends or pre-theatre drinks. You can't beat sipping specialised cocktails while taking in the stunning sea views and Sussex coastlines. Sustainability is at the heart of our business and transcends beyond being eco-friendly. Our business model is about giving back to the community and to date we have given out over 40,000 free tickets to local schools and worked with over 1,000 charities. Last week we teamed up with Ageing Well and DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole to host over 100 older members of the community to celebrate the first national Ageism Awareness Action Day. The event was part of a wider campaign to 'See and be Seen' which highlights the importance of combating ageism and ensuring that people aged 50+ feel valued and visible in society.
