Essex County Council Working for Essex welcomes T Level learners on industry placements. T Levels were introduced with the goal of getting young learners ready for the next step in their lives and careers. By combining course content that instils a breadth of knowledge with an industry placement that allows learners to put their new skills into practice, T Levels build graduates with an understanding of their sector and the realities of working life. Essex County Council have joined the growing number of organisations providing much-needed industry placement opportunities for T Level learners. Recently, our Wakefield office hosted Year 10 and 12 work experience students. 💻 The students spend two weeks shadowing and meeting staff from Early Talent & Resourcing, Learning & Development, People Services, Finance, Quality, Sales, Customer Service and IT. Work experience and early talent are vital to City & Guilds as we bridge the gap between education and industry, ensuring that individuals develop practical skills and real-world understanding.
