An integral part of the Clarivate Volunteer Network is providing mentoring to students from historically underserved communities like refugees, women studying tech, and those who are the first in their families to attend college in partnership with the Global Mentorship Initiative (GMI). The Element and Clarivate Volunteer Network teams in Malaysia team initiated a year-long volunteering program focused on aquaponics at St. Nicholas' Home, Penang, Malaysia (Home for the Blind), combining fish farming and hydroponics to assist the visually impaired community. Launched in February 2024, the project now includes 70 volunteers and celebrated its first harvest in July.
