COMEXI GROUP has launched a new version of its S1DT slitting technology, with the new S1DT evolution being ‘a significant step forward in productivity and automation’. The system aligns with increasing industry demand for wrap-around labels, with a need for visually appealing and functional packaging. Comexi said it is highly productive, featuring a double turret that support rewinding diameters of up to 650mm. Flexible packaging manufacturer Coveris Group has entered a new green power purchase agreement for its 18 UK sites that will see more than half of its electricity demand for the UK come from sustainable sources. NEWS: Martin Automatic, Inc, ETI Converting Equipment and LemuGroup are planning a collaboration at Labelexpo Americas next month that it is claimed will deliver a trade show first: the live manufacture of a pressure-sensitive labelstock job that will subsequently be delivered directly to its end use customer. The job is being manufactured on behalf of US #label #converter Channeled Resources Group, which has sold the job to one its clients.
