    four HUGE social media updates you need to know this week 👀💞💭💫 your social media tea is here, it's piping hot and there's LOTS of it... as normal, there’s SO many updates every week that I can’t always justify putting them into a carousel, so... here are the extra social media updates that didn’t make the cut 🧚♂️ 🌐 YouTube has launched a feature called “website visits” in its YouTube Studio’s promotion feature, and it allows creators to drive traffic to their website(s) of choice. 💬 Instagram is working on scheduled messages. 🗞️ Online platforms are the most popular resource for news for adults in the UK, overtaking TV slightly at 71% vs. 70%. 🚫 Australia looks like it’s planning to ban children from using social media. 👏 The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is investigating memes shared by gambling companies, after complaints that they (ASA) were not cracking down on a “clear rule breaches”. 🫵 YouTube is rolling out its new “Add Yours” Shorts sticker (very much like Instagram) to all users 🎧 LinkedIn launches podcast for Gen Z in partnership with iHeartRadio called “Let’s Talk Offline” and it’ll be about “about what it takes to thrive in the early years of your career — without sacrificing your values, sanity or sleep.” and for anyone who missed last week's updates, i always include an "in case you've missed it" section so you don't miss out on the juiciest news! that’s all for now folks!     five HUGE social media updates you need to know this week 👀💞💭💫 your social media tea is here, it's piping hot and there's LOTS of it... as normal, there’s SO many updates every week that I can’t always justify putting them into a carousel, so... here are the extra social media updates that didn’t make the cut 🧚♂️ 🎧 Instagram is in its MySpace-era and now allows users to add music to their profiles 👯♂️ Instagram is working on a few new features for Notes including being able to create Notes with friends and continuously share what you’re listening to on Spotify 💬 AND Instagram now allows users to publicly comment on Instagram Stories 📹 YouTube is expanding its courses option to more creators, allowing them to offer free and paid learning resources 📲 Meta now facilitates crossposting to Threads from Facebook and Instagram 👀 Snapchat has finally launched a native iPad app ♻️ Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, said in a Q&A that posting your Reel to your Stories will “help a bit with reach”. 🎨 Instagram is working on a custom collage feature, which would be made from a user’s camera roll and for anyone who missed last week's updates, i always include an "in case you've missed it" section so you don't miss out on the juiciest news! that’s all for now folks!
