"The AMIC procedure delivers superior patient outcomes compared with hand-minced autologous cartilage implantation."
A prominent study from Behrendt et al., comparing the use of AMIC & MCI in treating chondral and osteochondral defects. Following mid-term analysis of 48 patients, the data indicates superior outcomes in pain reduction, knee function and quality of life for patients who received AMIC.
We pride ourselves on working with best in class solutions like Chondro-Gide® from Geistlich Ortho, and we're always on the look out for independent data that demonstrates this.
