London Stansted has received the highest rating for its service to passengers with reduced mobility and disabilities from the Civil Aviation Authority 🥇 London Stansted Airport has been rated as 'very good' for the quality of its assistance service in its Airport Accessibility Report. In 2023, the airport was upgraded from 'good' to 'very good' for its significant improvements in assistance services and over the past year, further improvements have been made, resulting again in top marks. London Stansted Airport Community Fund grants £30,000 to local good causes! ✈️ 10 organisations across Essex and Hertfordshire are celebrating after being awarded a share of almost £30,000 from the Stansted Airport Community Fund. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱, 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱, 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱: “We are very fortunate to have so many wonderful community groups and voluntary organisations around the airport. The work they do really makes a difference to the lives..." The SACF offers grants of up to £5,000 to projects aimed at improving community life, the environment and conservation within a 10-mile radius of the airport, and London Stansted will contribute £1.5 million over the next decade to the fund. For many years, MAG (Airports Group) has been committed to supporting the Blue Heart Campaign, working alongside Essex Police and UK Border Force. London Stansted Airport has developed a dedicated Modern Slavery Champions group who meet quarterly throughout the year. We recently collaborated with charities The A21 Campaign and Justice and Care to ensure that our staff are empowered with the knowledge of trafficking, and how to spot the signs. Today, Police and UKBF were stationed in our Departure Lounge to raise awareness amongst staff and passengers, marking #WorldDayAgainstTraffickinginPersons.

London Stansted Airport is gearing up for its busiest summer ever! ✈️☀️ An estimated 4.3 million passengers are expected to take to the air over the school holidays, with an average of 97,000 passengers predicted to pass through each day. Passengers heading away from the airport this summer are reminded to familiarise themselves with the current security regulations to ensure a smooth start to their trip. London Stansted Airport passed the rolling 29 million passengers a year milestone for the first time in its history following our busiest ever June on record! ✈️ During the month of June we welcomed 2.8 million passengers, an increase of 8.3% on the same month last year. We also recorded our first ever 100,000 plus passenger days, with more than 100,800 passengers passing through the terminal on 28 June.
