July marked Disability Pride Month, and we’re proud of the steps we’ve taken to create a more accessible and supportive workplace. We’ve focused on: ◾ Our commitment to progressing from a Disability Confident Level 2 to 3 employer. ◾ Accessible drop-in sessions with our Disabled and Chronic Illness Voices group ◾ Reviewing our return-to-work policies aiming to support team members with disabilities or long-term health conditions. ◾ Raising awareness: Our Voices network created an amazing resource for our store team members on accessible clothing and accessories, aiming to share knowledge and promote inclusivity. While July was a dedicated month for celebration, our commitment to disability inclusion continues all year round, and although we know we have more work to do watch this space while we continue to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported. #WorkHardPlayHardBeKind

Pride month might be over, but at OB we’re proud 365 days a year (366 this year). For us, this means championing LGBTQ+ Voices, our internal networking group, introducing our transition at work policy and expressing our ‘Be Kind’ ethos not just for Pride month, but all year round. We proudly donate to akt, formerly Albert Kennedy Trust, who support LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-25 who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
