Five easy wins to improve walking and cycling infrastructure in UK cities. This week, the UK Transport Secretary announced “unprecedented” funding for active travel across the UK. It is true that boosting active travel would improve health, air quality and carbon emissions in our communities but currently these options are not always easy. Pushing a pram around rainy Manchester has left Steer Principal Consultant James Dyson with a few ideas about how walking and wheeling could be made easier for everyone.
