Our talented team of creatives, social media experts, F&B specialists, production experts, account managers, and everyone from the Tag Toronto office took a well-earned break from their screens yesterday for an afternoon of fun outdoors. It was Summer Camp vibes all the way with our sports and creative enthusiasts participating in friendly competitions, lawn games, bracelet making, and other activities. It was a perfect day for bringing together an already close-knit and collaborative team and we cannot wait to do it again next year. What do Simone Biles, Katie Ledecky, Leon Marchand and Daniel Slavik have in common? That's right. They all won gold this year during the 2024 Paris Olympics. Daniel Slavik, Digital Director, assisted by his furry sidekick, took home the most coveted victory of the whole games in our Go For Gold competition which saw members of our teams across the globe battling it out to predict the most correct gold medal winners during this year’s games. It was great to see our teams come together to celebrate and compete on a global level with 1st Place awarded to top individual (Daniel Slavik), country (United Kingdom) and region (EMEA). There's no 'i' in team, but there is in Tag-iversary! That’s why we celebrate the milestones of the brilliant individuals who contribute to the ongoing success of Tag. This month is Dhairya Madani’s 10-year anniversary at Tag, and to mark the occasion, we spoke with him about his career highlights at Tag, why he enjoys working here as well as his top advice for new joiners. Here’s what he had to say: “My number one career highlight at Tag has been the opportunity to become a mentor. I’ve had the pleasure to mentor a few people during my time and loved every moment of it, I see it as a way to foster growth and share knowledge/wisdom/experience with the next generation. It also enables a safe and nurturing working environment where colleagues can build trust and communicate openly. This leads on nicely to favourite thing about Tag, the people who work here. I love working with my team and everyone in other departments around the globe. One aspect of my role which I love (besides Excel) is problem solving, and it’s always fun when you get to come in and have plenty of challenges and puzzles to solve. Finally, my advice to those joining Tag would be that everything is connected when you join the dots, make sure to learn how each department works and how you/they can help each other grow and prosper.” Happy Tag-iversary Dhairya, this one’s for you! #TagTalent
