“I have worked with Craig in a number of engagements over several years both in the digital and “bricks and mortar” worlds and I would throughly recommend him. He is a excellent designer, with an exceptional ability to wrestle issues down by focusing on the basics and working from there. Whilst he is a good listener (not always the case with consultants!), he also not afraid to respectfully pressure-tests conventional wisdom with his own observations and experience. In this regard he is particularly good at getting very close to the customers / stakeholders, building robust data sets supported by a clear narrative (I particularly enjoyed his “guerrilla-style” approach to customer research). His technical skills are also excellent and his UX is constantly tested with the end user from day one, iterating it until it is narrowed down to the solution. Craig’s style commands respect and credibility across the board. He worked with us on a number of heavily regulated projects and was able to build solid working relationships with the likes of regulators and competitors. His gravitas comes from a deep understanding of the issues together with an empathetic and collaborative working style. Craig has also put together some very strong teams with complementary skill sets, empowering them to “own” the product. He is positive and optimistic regardless of the environment and good fun to work with. In short, Craig is an excellent addition to any team and look forward to working with him again in the near future. ”
