I am a member of YGA ( Young Guru Academy). YGA is an NGO and its mission is to select, educate, train and inspire creative innovative and socially responsible leaders. I attended YGA Leadership Seminar and applied to be a part of it. I was selected after the interviews from 2000 applicants and firstly, I participated in “Oku Düşün Paylaş” ( Read Think Share) project. In that year, due to my discipline, my efforts and leadership skills; I and 12 YGA member was selected for the YGA Leadership School. It was a one week event ; I had chance to meet with successful leaders such as Hüsnü Özyeğin, Ali Sabancı, Ümran Beba, and Hasan Yılmaz and inspired from their success recipes and experiences.

In 2008, I was promoted as servant leader in Ankara. I was responsible for monitoring the "Read Think Share Activities" in twelve high schools and coordinating 50 YGA members in Ankara. I was visiting the schools, coordinating and motivating the YGA members, convincing the teachers about the benefits of the project. In addition to my responsibilities in Ankara, I was also participating in other projects.

In autumn 2008, I decided to participate in YGA’s “Brain Drain to Anatolia” project. The aim of the project is to empower elementary school students in leadership development skills and creative writing methods. I voluntary worked as teacher in 5 Elementary Schools and had more than 450 students. The project took two months and it improved my skills.

I am still an active member of YGA.
