US award-winning screenwriter and director Steven Bernstein hosted a six-day filmmaking course on the Cycladic island of Syros, for Greek cinematographers, students and cinema lovers. The initiative is part of a greater plan for the creation of a film studio and a film school on the island, in collaboration with the Greek state and the European Union.
The 8-hour daily classes were held in English and cpvered film production, screenwriting, lighting and film direction among other topics.
