    A week long trip funded by myself to join a team of ten volunteers to work in Hungary. The purpose of the trip was to help renovate a run-down building which would make it fit to serve as a community children's centre. The week seen myself and the team working together to insulate the loft and carry out general maintenance improvements to create an environment for children to play, learn and socialise with other members of the community.

    The Caring Matters Now support group was initially set up in 1998 by my sister, Jodi Unsworth, at the time a 15 year old patient at Great Ormond Street Hospital with extensive CMN. My family provided support to those similarly affected by the condition. This was the first known and only dedicated support group in the UK. Since 1998, I have supported Jodi in helping to organise and attend 'Family Support Days' and various fundraising events such as an Annual Charity Dinners, each year with a…
