Allergies are the most common ailment in our country today. Now the 6th leading cause of chronic disease, 12 million Americans now suffer from food allergies, with 8% of all children being allergic to some kind of food. According to the FDA, milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans are the most offending foods.
Severe food reactions is estimated that food-related anaphylaxis events generate more than 30,000 emergency room visits, 2,000 hospitalizations and 150 deaths per year. According to David Holdford, an associate professor of pharmacy at Virginia Commonwealth University, co-authored a 2011 study that estimated the annual cost of treating food allergy reactions at $340 million to $510 million per year. With the incidence of allergies skyrocketing, eliminating the causes and discovering new treatments is the key to bringing the epidemic under control
Why are Allergies Increasing…Unsuspected Causes
Investigators have identified many substances that can induce the production of the IgE antibodies that cause allergic reaction. A little known cause of an allergic response are the preservatives found in vaccinations. Mercury, aluminum and gelatin have all been reported in the medical literature to increase IgE concentrations, playing a role in the development allergies. Children are initially exposed to these substances beginning with the routine two-month old vaccinations. Because a newborn’s immune system is not fully developed, infancy is a high-risk period for allergic sensitization. Events that occur early in life, such as vaccination, have the potential for inducing the development of allergies and asthma later in life.
Early exposure to antibiotics has been linked to the development allergies.
A 1999 study published in the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Allergy documents that children given antibiotics during the first year of life are more than four times more likely to develop asthma than children who have never taken antibiotics. When the statistics are adjusted for factors such as gender, ethnicity, family size, family history of asthma and parents’ smoking habits, the risk of developing asthma was six times greater in those who have received antibiotics than the risk experienced by children who have never taken them.
Until recently, food allergies were only thought to cause immediate, serious problems. Most are familiar with this type of reaction caused by a peanut or shellfish allergy. As it turns out, most people have another type of food allergy, called a delayed-type sensitivity in which a reaction may not appear until later, sometimes 72 hours, or three full days, after eating the offending food. With delayed reactions, it is nearly impossible to determine the connection between the symptom and a food.
With environmental allergens, such as pollen, ragweed, dust, mold, or certain animals, especially cats and dogs. Symptoms of sneezing, hives or a runny nose come to mind when pollen or ragweed are in bloom. But few are aware that environment sensitivities can cause a long list of other symptoms too, such as a bout of gas or cramping with diarrhea.
Do you experience of these symptoms?
- Frequent abdominal cramps, gas, bloating, diarrhea or constipation?
- Acid reflux (GERD), ulcerative colitis, or Crohn’s disease?
- Joint pain, muscle aches, fibromyalgia or chronic, relentless fatigue?
- Asthma, eczema, psoriasis, unknown rashes or limb swelling?
- Unexplained and uncontrollable fatigue after meals?
- Brain fog, forgetfulness, lack of focus, short attention span, ADD or ADHD?
- Headaches or irregular heart beats?
- Frequent colds, flus and infections?
All of these — and more — can be symptoms of unrecognized and untreated food or environmental allergies and a weakened immune system.
Our Proprietary Allergy Elimination Program
Tenpenny Sensitivity Reduction Technique, or T-SRT™, is a strengthened immune system. The technique, based on principles of acupuncture, has a procedure proven track record of more than 5000 patients and 18 years of use. In addition to eliminating allergy symptoms, T-SRT can help to alleviate pain from fibromyalgia, balance hormones and help with infertility. T-SRT combines the techniques of Dr. Devi Nambudripad, Dr. Ellen Cutler, DC, MD and Dr. Carolyn Jaffe with our own unique system. Our allergy elimination protocol is known across the U.S and around the world. In fact, we’ve had patients from all 50 states and at least 15 countries come to our clinic, specifically to go through this program.
How Does T-SRT Work?
The allergy elimination treatment combines the best of the three medical sciences that most effectively evaluate and treat the energetic systems in the body: kinesiology, homeopathy and acupressure. Kinesiology testing is used to determine which allergens are causing a sensitivity. The first three treatments, referred to as the Foundation Treatments, set are important to set the stage for successfully addressing individual allergens. T-SRT usually requires 12 to 15 visits, instead of 100s that are necessary for other similar programs.
How Well Does It Work?
A patient survey of those who completed the full series of 12 to 15 found that nearly 86% of patients experienced complete relief of their allergy-related problems. These are better odds than any other treatment available in medicine. The survey demonstrated that approximately 3% of patients showed little or no improvement. After the completion of the T-SRT program, we strongly encourage an annual checkup, referred to as a box check, to keep your system clear and strong.
I went through those programs years ago, but some of my symptoms came back.
If you completed T-SRT several years ago, and have not had a box check, please come see us! We view a “box check” as a checkup, similar to getting your teeth cleaned, getting your annual pap or annual thermogram. It is true prevention. More than likely, you will only need 1 to 3 treatments to get back to obtain relief. T-SRT is a long-term investment in your health. You would take your car in for regular oil changes; please take care of your body and your health by scheduling your annual box check as an way to stay feeling well.
Can T-SRT Help Me?
While no treatment works 100% of the time for 100% of patients, T-SRT has been very successful for eliminating the need for asthma and allergy medications. We have successfully treated children and adults with the following symptoms:
- Food allergies, including dairy and wheat sensitivities
- Exercise-induced asthma
- Swimmer’s allergies and asthma
- Reactions to dogs and cats
- Allergies to mold, pollen, ragweed and other outdoor allergens
- Peanut allergies — we have testimonies from parents who had children who had serious reactions to peanuts, including anaphylaxis, and no longer react
- Irritable bowel syndrome
- Migraine headaches
- Eczema, psoriasis and chronic hives
- And many more….
