Autumn Schaef is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program. She is a graduate of Ursuline College with her Master of Science in Nursing. Undergraduate study was completed at Lourdes College in Sylvania, Ohio. Prior to joining Tenpenny Integrative Medical Center, she completed ten years as a registered nurse, working in perioperative areas and the intensive care unit.
When Autumn’s personal health circumstances were not resolved through conventional medical modalities, she began a journey of self-discovery to improve her quality of life. She found solutions through holistic therapies and lifestyle changes.
Autumn’s particular interest in women’s health, thyroid and hormone therapy, gluten intolerance, and complex medical problems. She incorporates an understanding of epigenetics, including methylation and MTHFR genetic variations, into her care plans. She believes wellness is a journey and everyone has a unique, personal path to achieve optimum health. She has joined TIMC to help change the lives of others. We are very grateful she is here.
