SUGGESTED USE

POTENTIAL ISSUES (Detox Reaction)

Most customers tolerate our supplements without incident; however, approximately 5 to 10% of customers (usually with an autoimmune condition) may experience a detoxification reaction. Detoxification reactions go by many different names including healing reactions, healing crises, cleansing reactions (or) Herxheimer reactions with hallmark symptoms of nausea, headache, lethargy, dizziness and other flu like symptoms. In this instance, detoxification reactions are generally an indication that detoxification pathways in the body are back online... cells suddenly have an opportunity to release an even greater than normal quantity of stored toxins, metabolic wastes, pathogens and unwanted material.

A detoxification reaction is more likely to occur when starting with the full suggested serving size of 6 capsules per day. If you know that you are sensitive to supplements and/or you have an autoimmune condition, you may wish to start slow when adding this product to your current regimen. I suspected that I had hypothyroidism for a while now. (For at least a year) Unexplained weight gain, inability to lose it, dry skin, constipation, cold hands and feet, thinning hair, brittle nails. I talked to my cardiologist, my OB/GYN, my internist, nurses all to be told I was fine. My blood tests said I was within a normal range for TSH, T3, T4, Adrenal Fatigue. I changed my diet, increased my exercise and water intake all to no avail. I tried several brands of diet pills and other programs and nothing was working. I thought I was losing my mind.

After trying several things to help increase thyroid function with no results I read how desiccated beef organs and marrow my help heal your body from the inside out. I read many of the reviews and saw nothing but good reports. I figured what the heck. I ordered them and started on a low dose as recommended. (one per day for a week, then increasing to two per day for a week and so on). This is week three for me and I have kept up my diet, exercise and water intake. My stomach bloating has gone away,the constipation has all but stopped and my clothes are starting to fit better again.


Do not expect an overnight miracle. I am as impatient as they come and I had to learn that this takes time. Also, I can't say enough good things about this company. Brian and his staff were ready to answer any questions I had quickly and followed up to see how I was feeling.

I'm not exactly sure that I could adequately describe how impressed I am with this company, and how above and beyond they have gone to help me. I originally bought the Organ supplement. My health hasn't been the best, and I still wasn't feeling as good as I had hoped. I had the initial contact email from the company, asking how I was feeling, and I figured I would let them know. The owner not only contacted me back immediately, but he supplied me with a WEALTH of information. He emailed me several times, spent the time to answer my questions, and direct me to the best information. He even put together a supplement plan for me. I have been taking the supplements (1/2 of the dosage prescribed), and I finally feel like a human being again. I can't remember the last time that I wasn't physically exhausted 24/7, and I can't wait to go in for my bloodwork again. I should take a picture of all of the supplements that I have tried and that haven't helped, because I have tried more than my wallet appreciated. It is so nice to finally feel like supplements are doing something. And the best part is that I know it will only get better. No more iron pills that hurt my stomach, no more feeling exhausted all the time. And on top of that, a company that has a president that emails you back at any time, day or night, to help you and answer questions.

I bought the bone marrow from the same company for my mom, who is on a ton of meds. She had open heart surgery at a young age (58) and has been on cholesterol meds and blood pressure meds that have saved her (she is 74), but have also had a ton of side effects. I started her on one pill of the bone marrow and one Ubiquional CoQ10 and immediately, she saw an improvement. She has so much pain in her joints that she is always talking about getting old and not being able to do anything anymore, and for the last week, she has been positive and pain-free. And that has been only on 1 pill a day.

Taking for autoimmune issues. It's been just over two weeks but I'm already feeling more energy and improved strength. I started with just one capsule on day 1; two capsules on day 2; three capsules on day 3 and so on until I reached the recommended dose.

Had no side effects starting this way. Absolutely love this product as well as their liver and bone marrow product. Looking forward to seeing the whole Ancestral Supplements line on Amazon.

SAFETY OF GRASS-FED, PASTURE-RAISED LIVER

High quality liver from pasture-raised, grass-fed cows is completely safe to consume. There is a common misconception about the liver being a storage depot for toxins which couldn't be further from fact. One of the many roles of liver is to filter toxins and send them to be expelled — usually in the urine via the kidney. In other words, the liver does not hold on to toxins, it expels them. The liver does act as a storage depot for vitamins, minerals and glycogen. Rest assured, liver from healthy animals is safe, nutritious and time-tested.

Need more assurance... Recall that liver is rich in choline, folate and B12. A diet rich in these nutrients supports methylation. Amongst other things, methylation is central to detoxification. What's more, is that without adequate choline (most Americans) fatty deposits may accumulate that contribute to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Downstream issues include compromised detoxification, high cholesterol and memory problems. The take home message is this... grass-fed, pasture-raised liver is not only safe to consume but one could say that its nutrients are required to support and optimize our own detoxification pathways. CHOLESTEROL

All animal cells contain some cholesterol; therefore, all animal foods have it, including ours. Most of our nose-to-tail foods have less than 1/10th of just one gram of fat per capsule... this is hardly anything. There is approximately 4 mg of glandular derived cholesterol per capsule to nourish cell membranes, to support hormones (including the synthesis of vitamin D), to synthesize neurotransmitters and to support overall nerve function — just to name a few.

Here are some simple, verifiable scientific facts...

  • Dietary cholesterol has little, or nothing, to do with blood cholesterol numbers.
  • Heart attacks occur more often in people with "normal" ldl cholesterol numbers.
  • Inflammation, triglycerides, fasting blood sugar and blood pressure are better predictors of heart health.

Cholesterol level reflects chronic inflammation in the body; the more inflammation you have, the higher your total cholesterol tends to be. Your body makes cholesterol to "patch up damages" from this ongoing inflammation.

Need more assurance..
