The Children’s Health Defense (CHD) 2022 Educational Fellowship Program kicked off this week with the announcement that 28 inaugural fellows were chosen from a field of 150 applicants from around the world.

A total of 11 full-time and part-time fellows joined the CHD team to assist in the day-to-day operations of our advocacy, wireless technologies, legal and science program areas.

An additional four fellows will work as contributors, journalists and editors with The Defender team, and six fellows will work as producers, editors and filmmakers with CHD-TV.

We also welcome seven fellows who will research and write on critical issues, including philanthrocapitalism, the opioid crisis during COVID-19, vaccine mandates and injuries in the U.S. military, and community health and how to maintain it.

CHD welcomes this distinguished group of fellows which includes Ph.D.s, post-doctoral researchers, physicians, lawyers, law professors, journalists, documentary filmmakers, veterans, nurse practitioners, architects, college students and recent graduates.

Each member of CHD’s inaugural fellowship class has a unique story of resilience, professionalism and passion. We invite you to learn more about each of these individuals in our upcoming “CHD Fellow of the Week” series on CHD-TV.

Your generous contributions to CHD have made this wonderful new program possible. Thank you.
