Joe Rogan continues to reject Trump podcast requests

Comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan continues to reject requests to host former President Donald Trump on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.

The UFC commentator hosts what is considered by many to be the most influential podcast platform, with over 11 million listeners, but he has repeatedly denied calls to bring on Trump, according to a Monday report.

TRUMP'S FEUDS WITH GOP GOVERNORS A DISTRACTION FOR HIM IN THE 2024 PRIMARY RACE

Most recently, Trump and Rogan were spotted at a UFC 290 earlier this month shaking hands, and the former president purportedly had members of his team seek a sit-down with Rogan, the report noted.

Roger Stone, an adviser to the 45th president, has reportedly offered to meet Rogan, a trained martial artist, in the cage with the hopes of arranging a meeting.

“The mere discussion of Donald Trump on a blockbuster podcast like Joe Rogan builds a remarkable audience," one member of the Trump camp said, according to the report.

"Perhaps the only person bigger in the new media world than Joe Rogan is Donald Trump and the whole idea that the two of them would be together at long last — it would be an incredible audience."

Rogan has publicly stated that he is not a supporter of the former president in a 2022 interview.

"I am not a Trump supporter in any way, shape, or form," Rogan said. "I've had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once. I've said no every time."

An interview has the ability to "revitalize and rehabilitate" a person's image, according to the podcaster, who used Alex Jones as an example.

Jones was genuine during his interviews, but Trump most likely wouldn't be, Rogan said.

"I don't know if he would genuinely be there," he said. "I think he would be putting on a performance."
