LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A lengthy investigation stemming from an indecent exposure report at a park back in June led to the arrest of a Lincoln man.

Jon Corbin, 54, was taken into custody Friday and lodged in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of possessing child pornography, child enticement and child abuse.

Lincoln Police officers responded to Holmes Lake Park on June 23 on the report of an indecent exposure that occurred in a portable bathroom.

A 9-year-old child told officers a man entered the bathroom they were using and exposed himself, police said.

After identifying the suspect as Corbin, a lengthy investigation began that included the seizure of the suspect’s cell phone and a search warrant for the device.

“We want to express our gratitude to the victim for having the bravery to speak up and our investigators for their diligence in this case that led to the arrest of the perpetrator,” Lincoln Police wrote.
