Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Fields: Page 1, following line 14: Insert new material to read: "WHEREAS, the Alaska legislature supports police, troopers, and other law enforcement officials; and WHEREAS, the International Association of Chief of Police "strongly oppose the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act because it endangers the public and law enforcement"; and" Representative Fields moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. 2023-04-14 House Journal Page 0726 There was objection.
