Movie buffs have been petitioning since the release of Kill Bill Part 2 (136 minutes) that we deserve a prequel to understand how Bill’s gang of assassins got their start and now we finally have the answer!
What’s interesting is they never once say Bill in the movie but quite often, English words take on different names in a foreign language so if you understand that, it’s very clear how this movie ties into Kill Bill Part 1(111 minutes).
What’s interesting is in both Kill Bill 1&2 they travel all over and shot the films on various exciting and thrilling locations whereas here it’s all on a train.
Now what I didn’t like is with the title Kill, we spent half of the movie not killing, and since this is the prequel to Kill Bill, they should have called it
“Kill Bill Part: 0” since it takes place right before. The title “Kill” could confuse non movie buffs who haven’t seen the other movies in the series. So I can’t give it a full five bags of popcorn.
However, I did enjoy the close combat fighting, the throughout the movie, there’s some pretty scary and violent kills, scenes you wouldn’t want the family to see so I’m gonna actually give this movie 5 bags of popcorn and I’ll toss in a little license because all of this killing reminded me of James Bond 007 and in a lot of ways, this movie is like a James Bond movie. In fact, I’m positive that star Lakshya Lalwani will be cast as the next James Bond.
You heard it here first everyone!
