So I almost gave up on this product. Upon arrival when I shook the tube I could hear the water inside as others have mentioned . I tried the hot water method. At first from the sink for like 10 mins kept shaking Didn’t work. Then I microwaved really hot water in this jar and put it in there for another 10 mins . That did the trick.

I saw a YT video and she said this is a dupe for La Mer so I had to buy it. A watery substance began flowing out as soon as I opened it. I remembered what some reviewers said and capped it and shook and tested it and shook some more-it took quite a while to get it to be a lotion. I put it on my face and immediately felt burning. Normally I love to have something sting but this was so bad, my whole face turned bright red. My husband was right next to me and freaked out at what he saw. I was trying to wait for it to calm down. It got so painful so quickly, I had to wash it off and I had actual burns on my skin.
I feel as though this may have been adulterated in some way. I really wondered if someone used half the tube and sent it back after adding some horrible fluid to fill the tube. NO ONE would ever use this if everybody had this experience. In fact, they'd be sued. I really wanted to try it, due to the La Mer dupe thing, so I went to Ulta and bought some. I noticed expiration dates. I got one dated 2025 and tried it. A little fluid came out at first, I shook it, applied it and nothing happened. It felt kind of heavy. I only used it once. I think it may be too heavy for my oily skin. But then I looked at my Amazon tube and the expiration date and it is 2025. Same as the Ulta one.
I do not know what was wrong with my tube but that is what happened to me and I'm pretty upset about it. The burns stayed for several days. I have no idea what is wrong with the tube I got.

At first I was skeptical about the stability of the product as many reviewers are concerned about the texture of the cream. I only experienced a little drop of liquid when I first opened it. I did not test it in hot water as many do. The texture of the cream is thick. I only apply a little (pea size) on each part of my face. It absorbs quickly without white cast. What impressed me the most was it works a magic on my lips, not only on the peripheral area as my whole lips are having burning sensation for a couple weeks now. I apply it as needed on my lips. The burning sensation gradually subsides and my lips develop new tissues without chaps. I also combine it with Nuxe Honey lip oil and Algenist lip serum. But I have seen a tremendous improvement since I applied the cream. It works!

I bought this product to trial in my derm office for post laser patients. The first tube was amazing as I used it as soon as it was delivered. I bought 10 tubes, so when I opened the second one today (just 6 weeks later, sealed, kept in a cool dark place) I was unpleasantly suprised that the product had separated and turned a blue-hue in color. I opened three more tubes and all the same. I tried shaking it up, it will not mix. I am disappointed I bought so many because now the return date has passed. I hear amazing things about this product, so will perhaps buy direct from the manufacturer from now on.
