I live on a farm, I use these boats to bring in the ducks and geese at night off the water. I have no issues getting all the way across the lake to round up the birds and follow them back in.     I bought this set of two remote-controlled boats for my grandchildren's recent visit. They loved them - for the short time they worked.

    PROS:
    - small, lightweight
    - good for small backyard pool

    CONS:
    - one propellor stuck, resulting in boat that only turned in tight circles
    - battery life low
    - water seeped into boat battery compartment
    - did not cover advertised distances (18' was the max we got out of the boats)
    - controllers sometimes switched between boats without any warning or realigning bluetooth connections
    - controllers didn't always work to communicate with boats

    I would pass on these, even though my grandchildren enjoyed them for the first round of use.
