Is light weight.
I like the bow detail, cute and protective. I also use it on not too heavy rain days, it helps me protect my face and head.
I just don't recommend to roll it when putting on back pack, it might make the brim a little uneven
But I don't have a problem just carrying it flat on my tote bag, backpack or by hand.

I have only worn this once so far, so I will need to update this review later. So far I really like it. I can tell it will be easy to wash. I have a tan hat similar that I absolutely love! These hats are going to protect me from aging, cancer, and sun burns. I love how this hat will go with a lot of my outfits.
The material is great and durable. This hat seems to be made well for what it is used for. I will know more once I wear it for different types of outings.
I hope I am updating this review correctly. I just got back from Florida and this hat was perfect for swimming in rough waves. Both times I went swimming were red current days, so the waves were very strong. They'd splash over my head when I was facing the shore and hit the top of the hat instead of hitting my face with force. That was nice for keeping water out of my eyes. The hat stayed on really well. I didn't pull my pony tail through the hole, but if I would have it probably would of been even more secure. The hat only washed off once with a very forceful wave. Fortunately I was able to retrieve it since it stayed afloat. The hat kept the sun off my face the whole trip and that was exactly what I needed it for. I also went to an Alligator Zoo that had tons of birds nesting in the trees above our heads. This hat protected my head and hair from bird poo. I was able to wash it easily since it's made to get wet and dry fast. If that hat seems tight at first give it a few more wears, because mine seem to stretch out just right for my head size.

I love this hat! It’s sporty in the front and classy in the back. I love the hole for my ponytail, and when the bow is tied, it looks like I’m wearing a ribbon in my hair. It’s a subtle feminine touch, that makes the hat look so classy, and old fashioned. The fabric is very light, perfect for a hot day. The brim is large enough to keep the sun out of my eyes, but not huge. It is a stiff brim. This hat does come with a chin strap that can be removed. The strap is connected to the hat by hard plastic clips. The plastic is cheap and feels as if it will break. That’s okay for me because this hat is snug enough I don’t think it will blow away when I wear it. I don’t have an abnormally large head, so I would say this hat runs a little small. For me this is perfect, since I like my hats to be a tiny bit snug, so buyer beware. I am a little bit disappointed. I ordered the hat in the color labeled “white” but really it’s still a cream color. The mesh is a clean white, so it’s pretty noticeable in my opinion. Why is it so hard to find a clean white sun hat for an adult? But this hat is literally the closest thing I could find to what I’m looking for. Still cute, and really nice for the price.

So let me just say for the fashionable part, hats just aren't for everyone. With that being said who cares because once you give these a try you'll forget all about it. Either way you've got so many colors to choose from so there's that.
Anyway, the fact is these work hands down. If your job requires you to be in the sun you need these. If you're in the sun a lot, period, you need these. I was skeptical at first about the whole spf 50 protection but after wearing it for one day on my shift I'm a believer. I actually felt cool while standing and doing intense enough activities in the sun. I didn't even sweat as much because I felt so cool. Additionally these seem to have an uncanny ability to trap wind a bit so when you've got a nice enough breeze it's like it lasts longer. Maybe I didn't explain that properly but anyone who has ever tested these knows what I am talking about. Long and short I'm getting a second one. Really like these hats. Living in South Florida I really wish I had known about these years ago. Could have saved me from excess sun exposure, on my face anyway, and more than likely premature aging.

I wear a hat everyday to avoid making the sun damage on my face worse. Sunscreen and a big hat are essential and over the years I've had lots of hats. Overall, I'm impressed with this hat. It has a Flying Nun vibe, but works great. It's a very light fabric, has an extra wide, stiff brim and feels secure in the wind. I rode my bike today with it on in 10-15 mph gusts and it stayed put. If you've got long hair the pony tail slot helps to keep it in place. The bow is super cute and functional, it tightens up the hat on your head. Since there is no brim in the back you can recline comfortably in a beach chair without your hat brim banging the back of the chair. I anticipate the clips that attach the chin strap will break at some point, but it will be an easy fix. Just tie the chin strap to the fabric tabs. Very happy with this purchase.
