These are brilliant! My bulldogs favorite ball.
They are bouncy. Perfect for playing fetch. She also likes to put the whole thing in her mouth and chew on it sometimes. We have the medium and large. I like the large size because I’m nervous she will get the smaller ones somehow stuck in her throat. But because of the way they are made it makes me feel better about at least being able to breathe.
Excellent quality and durability!
*Update.* The balls can’t be expected to last forever, especially when playing fetch and tug of war with them. And yes they work well for that since I can easily hook my finger on the ball to get ahold. It’s been over 6 months and there are some areas that are worn down and beginning to break apart. However, I’m impressed on how well these hold up to daily play. I cannot praise these enough.
The only thing that I’d like to see is more colors since my Gracie doesn’t want to share with her new brother.

My dog loves to chew tennis balls like gum. Working his jaw up and down on the ball. Unfortunately most tennis balls only last for a few hours before he manages to peel off the fury outside or split the ball in two. This is a great alternative. It is soft enough that he can chew it the same as he does with his tennis balls but there is no furry green stuff to peel off the outside and so far he has not managed to break the ball into pieces. I am not entirely comfortable with letting him just sit and gnaw at the ball because I fear if he really put his mind to it he could chew through the material. That said, as long as i am being attentive he can chew on it and move his jaw up and down and up and down. Much better and more fun for him than those hard rubber balls that are pretty indestructible but too hard to have any give.

Much better than tennis balls

Regular tennis balls, including the ones sold by Chuckit are just not that great as dog toys. Even though I don't allow my dogs to chew on them when we are not playing fetch, they still don't last long as when they are eventually punctured they wear out quickly and are useless. The Breathe Right balls seem much more resilient and so long as you don't allow your dogs to chew on them when not playing fetch, they should last a long time. I normally buy the Chuckit Ultra balls, which I think are fantastic, but I decided to give these a try. I don't really know if they improve breathing. Certainly not with my dogs. Chuckit balls come in various sizes and as long as the ball is not too small, the dog should have no problem breathing around it. Perhaps this is an issue with really big dogs where the large size is still too small. These are lighter than the Ultra balls so that might be good for smaller dogs. The only reason I can't give these 5 stars is because they just don't work as well with the Chuckit launcher. It's harder to pick them up and throw because the ball just doesn't lock as it does with the Ultra balls. I don't think these balls are bad, it's just that I find the Ultra balls are so much better, and for about the same price I'm definitely going to go back to the Ultra balls when these inevitably get lost.
