There are so many good things to say about these little cube trays…a lot of people have already raved about them and all of their praises are things I also love about them. I have another bonus way to use these cubies…read all the way to end. Here’s a few of my praises:
1. Have had these 3 years and they’re in absolute pristine condition, even with consistent use.
2. They are SO convenient for having frozen things (soups, broth, large ice cubes, etc) in small freezers where bulky containers are wasting space.
3. They’re souper easy to clean (eh? ::wink::); toss them in the dishwasher and they’re ready to go again.
4. They stack in each other when not in use; helpful for tiny kitchens with limited storage space.
5. YOU CAN BAKE MINI LOAF CAKES IN THEM! Husband had a craving for olive oil cake but a) we didn’t have a cake tin and b) we wanted to be able to give some away to friends, which is very hard/not cute to do if you’re cutting up your round cake into transportable pieces (I don’t have a cake tupperware. I’m an average person with a very tiny aforementioned kitchen.) HE BAKED 4 LITTLE LOAF CAKES IN HERE AND THEY CAME OUT SO PERFECT. They all baked evenly, came out very easily without needing to butter/grease them before pouring the batter (dairy-free household). This also makes it easy to freeze some cake for future enjoyment which encourages a bit more self control than having a giant cake on your counter staring at you, begging to be eaten every time you walk in/near the kitchen. (:
10/10 would recommend.

Amazing!
I am so glad I purchased these super cubes. They have come in very handy for my freshly pureed pumpkin storage and also any soups and chilies that we make and have leftovers. There is a little bit of ice, as you can see, but that is normal as these are not 100% seal proof and some air does get in them. But in general, these are much better than any alternatives that I have used.

Review for 1-cup, Extra-large Souper Cubes Freezing Trays (purchased the dual set).
UPDATE: Nearly 3.5 years in and I am still happy with the purchase overall. I have averaged using them once per month each year and have left them in the freezer for months at least once a year. Both the trays and lids are still easy to clean, odor free, and functioninal.
Some issues I have had:
(1) difficulty removing cubes; my fingers hurt then go numb (signs of frost nip) from handling the frozen silicone or from the time and pressure needed to push out a cube. It helps to let them thaw 5-10 minutes before popping them out and it would also help to wear gloves.
(2) some warping due to removing particularly difficult cubes. But over time, this seemed to fix itself especially when I took the time to straighten out the trays after subsequent uses.
(3) difficulty removing the cover, especially after a long-term freeze; a little thaw time helps.
I also recommend the 2-cup if you like large bowls of soups or are cooking for more than one person. Tip: to defrost and reheat cubes for a meal, place a cube in a pot, fill the bottom with 1/4-1/2 inch of water or complementary broth, cover and turn on the stove. It’s less likely to burn and stick to the bottom of the pot. May need to adjust seasoning once it’s fully thawed and heated through.

Overall, I'm impressed with this product. I wanted to find a more space-efficient way to store soup in the freezer and still keep it divided into individual servings. It delivered on this. Over three days, I made three different soups and froze them into cubes. I stored four cubes in a one-gallon freezer bag.
Here's what I LOVED about these trays:
1—DESIGN: While I don’t have a point of reference, I really liked that the top portion of the tray is framed out. It provides a sturdy frame on which to close the lid.
2—NO LEAKS: I filled a compartment with water and put on the lid. Then I tipped the tray every which way. No water escaped. (I did this after using the trays in the freezer once.)
3—EASY TO REMOVE: The frozen soup popped out easily; I only had one set that required inverting each cup entirely. This was a little more work. But, overall, I just had to apply pressure from the bottom and the cube would pop out. (See last image.)
4—EASY TO CLEAN: Dishwasher safe. Cleaned up beautifully face down on the top rack. (See 3rd image.) See # 5 for an issue I experienced.
Here’s what I DISLIKED:
5—STAINED: The minestrone stained the tray. (See middle image.) In between my marathon of soup freezing, I only washed each tray by hand with Dawn. I couldn’t remove the “stain” the minestrone had left. I wasn’t happy about this. Once I finished freezing all of the soups, I did put both the lids and trays on the top rack in the dishwasher and ran it through a regular cycle. They came out perfectly clean—stain free. (See first image)
6—REMNANT ODOR: After the first soup, a ginger-coconut milk chicken soup, a distinct frozen-food smell was left behind with a hint of the soup itself. While I don’t think this transferred to the subsequent soups, I don’t know if it might be problematic with other types of foods. Washing it in the dishwasher helped some but did not completely eliminate the odor. For the price of these, I didn’t expect this problem.
NOTE: I have not used the trays in the oven yet.
WHY THE 1-CUP?
There’s just two in our household. The one-cup permitted us to have individual servings or combine cubes for a larger meal (i.e., more people).
