Astounding history of the Indian independence movement from below in true Subaltern Studies fashion, as opposed to repeated focus on famous leaders and intellectuals as is the case in standard historiography.

This is another magnum opus from a Bengali bard whose candid interpretation lefts a powerful insight regarding "British Raj."
It also puts itself as a sine qua non for GS 1(History part) along with Sekhar Bandyopadhya's "From Plassey To Partition" to counter the dynamism of questions regarding political economy and Imperial culture of the then period.
Delivery and packaging needs special appreciation as Amazon gives really unmatchable service in the paradigm of e-commerce.
Don't waste your time in thinking whether "to buy or not to buy..."
Just go for it.
You need a thesaurus to uncover it's embedded meaning and also helpful for history lovers.
