Very sturdy construction, easy assembly and bright colors. In our beach it surfs just like it shows and pops right side up and turns toward shore quickly no matter how it lands. Quite entertaining for kids especially if you have a few you can race for time or distance, or style. Seems to travel fastest at the front of a 8"-12" wave that can push it a long distance. In deeper water it is lifted by the waves and pushed slowly to the shallower shore where it picks up speed and surfs the front of the wave. A good hour of fun for all ages but probably 6-14 yrs old will be occupied the longest.
