Dry Shampoo to the rescue!!

After years of struggling with chronic debilitating headaches which causes me to pass out on occasion due to spikes in pain. This has caused me to not be able to wash my hair as often as I would like, and this is my favorite way of helping to keep my hair clean. Since I have long, thick hair, it’s important to keep it fresh, even when I’m unable to wash it in the shower. It really helps me to feel that I have control over a little bit more of my life than I would if I had to wait until it’s safe enough for me to shower. Every little bit helps lift my spirits!

Sprayer is messed up

I believe this is a great product but the sprayer is broke on the one we ordered. Unfortunately I didn't try to use it until our other dry shampoo ran out and can no longer exchange it.

Aerosol didnt last

I was super excited to use this product since my stylist highly recommended it and uses it frequently. The product itself was great but Unfortunately, the aerosol can i received didnt have much pressure so it hasnt lasted very long at all. I feel I may have gotten at least 10 uses out of it max. There isnt much pressure to get any more of the product out, I feel i missed out on at least half the can of product. Next time id buy locally then buying through online.

Packaging is faulty

Had to agree with another reviewer - I really liked the product and it's perfomance, however about the 10th time I used it there was a bunch of solution that had leaked under the cap and the can felt emply and there is either nothing left in the can or I can't get it out. Very disappointing after spending a significant chunk of change on this product. If Amika is interested I can forward the lot number (bottom of can) and they can give me some feedback.

Defective spray button

I was only able to use the product twice until I could not longer press the button. It continues to let out air from the bottle despite not being able to press it down. Shame because it worked really well the few times I was able to use it.

Tried this in place of my normal brand and was not impressed. Has a very heavy floral smell and sprays on white with a film you can feel on your hair. Not a fan. Would rather spend the money for a brand that works better.

Nozzle stuck

Only issue is that the nozzle got stuck in actually sprayed the entire contents of the bottle after I used it for the third time.

Contacted website to begin a return and an email they sent Suggested I use the chat button Since it is the weekend. Use the link in the email, but never found a chat button. Hopefully the business stands behind their product; especially at the price I paid.

I've bought this before and loved it. It lasted me a couple of months as I didn't use it that often. I bought my second one close to a month ago and used it only 2-3 times and there's barely any product anymore. Even when I used it this morning, it won't even spray, but I still have some product in the can. Very unfortunate.

The product itself does the job. Great for freshening up between shampoos, however the sprayer knob, is terribly defective. It’s either full speed ahead or nothing. It’s very finicky and I feel like I’m wasting product because of this. I normally do little sections, spray lightly, let it set and the massage it in so it absorbs the oils. I have tried SO SO many dry shampoos. I used Batiste for years, then the whole law suit blah blah idc, but I have always wanted to try the Amika. Like I said it works but I don’t think it’s better than a 10-15$ equal product. Especially the spray nozzle. Won’t buy again for that reason plus the price is outrageous for something that can be achieved by something half the price with a working nozzle. Smell is nice too, but I’ve had better. Unpopular opinion? Yes, but I am brutally honest about my product reviews. Everyone is different. But I won’t purchase again.

I bought this two times, and really loved the way it made my hair feel. I used this new bottle, maybe a couple of times, and the next thing I know, half of the product is in the bottle cap leaking out. It was in a cool area of my home, so really not sure why this would’ve happened. Current theory is from me shaking the bottle, using it, and putting the lid back on. Idk, anyways, it was a waste of $30
