Excellent hat for traveling & for local beach too! It bends for packing & so comfy when you lean back on a lounge chair. It blocks the sun, it doesn't blow off of your head, even in windy Aruba & it looks great! This is essential for any sun worshipper! My head measures 23 & the hat size was 22 & it fit perfect. The snugness didn't feel tight, just comfy & so needed for a windy day or not.

Not for big heads

I really wanted to love this hat because I loved the color and design underneath the brim, plus it is also SPF protective for my very sensitive skin. Unfortunately the hat is too small - it did fit but squeezed around my head which would cause headaches. Processed a return. Still searching for a decent sun hat.

This is the perfect hat to wear in the sun. The brim is very rigid, which is great. I fold it up and stuff it in my tote bag, and it always straightens right up again. The brim is the widest that I have ever seen on a sun hat. It fits on my head snugly, so most of the time I don't need the chin strap. It is expensive, but worth it. I've washed it in the washing machine, and it comes out fine. I don't put it in the dryer, though. I would buy this hat again.

I gave away five other hats when I found this one. The large brim does not flip up in the wind, and provides good protection from the sun. The hat is comfortable and flattering. The center of the hat is a soft lightweight material that provides great ventilation. I love it!
