Northwest Appliance
Technician arrived on-time. I told him dishwasher was not cleaning. Turned on dishwasher and a minute later said "This needs a new motor, I can see the waters not getting moved at all." I explained I had been reading possible problems of this model and was concerned could be blockage, filters, and so forth. He said no, that it was a $375 motor and maybe better just to buy a new one. When I said I didn't want a new motor he said he was sorry for bad news and filled out his invoice. I read more service information online and decided to call Sears. Their technician arrived and had a computer. Looked up my washer. Discussed symptoms with me. Said "These often clog, let's take a look. He removed a few pieces, found the drain clog. Works like a charm. Then showed me how to do this myself "next time." If you own a Kenmore, CALL SEARS!!!!!

ANOTHER GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH HOMETOWN. THEY COME WHEN THEY SAY, WORK QUICKLY, EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM AND ANY OPTIONS, AND THE PRICE SEEMS VERY FAIR. ALSO RECENTLY PROVIDED ESTIMATE FOR WASHING MACHINE REPAIR. THE TECHNICIAN TOOK THE ENTIRE WASHER APART TO DISCOVER THE PROBLEM WAS DUE TO A MINOR ACCESSORY (BLEACH CUP). RATHER THAN REPAIR IT FOR $120, WE'LL JUST DO WITHOUT. WE APPRECIATE THE ADVICE

Central Ohio Appliance Repair
Keeping in mind all appliance repair is costly I just had Central Ohio Appliance Repair fix my stove. I was 99.9% sure it was the igniter but even using youtube I could not figure it out. I called at 8 this morning (Monday). They were here by noon and even called 20 minutes before arriving. Cost was $320.00. Markup on the part vs. Amazon was 50%. Service call $80 (seems to be the norm). And a charge of $65 for about 1.5 hours. Jacob was nice, clean, and really knew what he was doing

Appliance Pro LLC
I contacted Appliance Pro LLC regarding an error message on the control panel of my Kenmore Oasis dryer that repeatedly caused the dryer to stop working. Jim answered my call and was at my residence within 30 minutes. He quickly identified the cause of the problem, explained in detail what parts were needed for the repair and the total cost of the repair. Jim had to leave to acquire the required parts but quickly returned and had the dryer repaired in a very short period. Unfortunately during the repair a small part was damaged. Frankly, I probably would never have noticed the damage since it was an internal part. However, Jim immediately brought it to my attention while admitting he was responsible. He replaced the part at his expense while repeatedly apologizing. He is by far the most honest repair person I have ever met and in the future, he will be the first person I call whenever I need an appliance repaired. It is refreshing in this day and age to meet a business person with such integrity and concern for customer service. I wish that I could give this company and Jin an A+++

Sears Appliance Repair
On 11-23-2016, we had Sears come out to fix their Kenmore dishwasher. They only schedule in 8 hour blocks so my wife burned a vacation day to be home. They did not show until after 7pm and were unable to repair due to not having parts. They charged us and scheduled a new appointment for 12-4. Late on 12-3, we got an automated voice message and email that they would be out between 8:30-5pm again, and once again my wife burned a vacation day to be home. At 3pm or so, we checked their online status and they indicated our appointment would be moved to 7:30-9:30pm (on a Friday night!). We tried calling numerous times to see if they really planned on showing but could not get through. Wait times were excessive and in 3 occasions we were disconnected after a wait period. Since the status indicated 7:30-9:30, we decided to cancel plans for attending a friend's Christmas party because we really need this dishwasher fixed and out work schedules this time a year make it hard to be home. No one showed. On 12-5, after several attempts, we got hold of an actual human being. After some research they told me that the repair person was a no call, no show at work and wanted to reschedule us for 12-15. I told them, that no one bothered to call us, we already burned two vacation days, cancelled our party plans, and were charged $393 and that waiting an additional 1 1/2 weeks just isn't acceptable since this was their mistake, not ours. We feel that they should be able to work us in, work overtime, or whatever to make this happen instead of moving us out so far. I told them I wanted this resolved in 2 business days or a refund. We are not burning a 3rd vacation day. They told us that they could not schedule us before 12-15 and that if we wanted a refund we would have to call back on Monday. (Remember you can't get through easily to talk to a real human, they keep sending you back to the automated attendent or tell you they will send you an email, which in the email tells you to call the same phone number), This is still outstanding as we are trying to get our dishwasher fixed or at least a refund. Sears Home Services are the worst

Central Ohio Appliance Repair
Our washer is 10 years old. It would fill with water and stop operating. Later, it would finish the cycle, but with a terrible noise. I called Central Ohio Appliance and they came out to look at it. The first gentleman who came, did not actually take anything apart to look at it. He diagnosed it based upon my description and listening to the noise. He said we would need a new part (which I no longer recall the name of) and that it would be about $250 more than the service call. He recommended replacing it. My husband and I discussed it and decided we would rather repair it than buy a new washer AND dryer, or have a mismatched pair. When I called back, I mentioned that the first repairman did not open the washer, so I wanted to be sure that if they ordered the part, and it was not what was wrong with the washer, that we would not be charged. They sent out a different repairman, Wally, who quickly took the metal shell off the washer and inspected it. He discovered that a lighter had worked its way up inside the hole where the agitator comes through the bottom of the basin, and had clogged up the drain. He removed it, and the washer worked fine. They did not charge us anything more than the initial service call. I would definitely request Wally again

Northwest Appliance
The washing machine wouldn't do the spin cycle on Friday. We called Northwest, and they promised to come out on Monday. Later they called and said they would send Nick on Monday morning before 9:00. Nick called about 8:30 on Monday, and showed up shortly after. He had a good idea of what was wrong, and he brought the part with him. He replaced the part, explaining what and why, and then checked the machine to be sure there weren't other things that could cause us problems. He was finished in less than an hour. He was very professional and friendly

Jim diagnosed the problem within seconds of turning the washer on and hearing the horrible grinding noise. He explained what had likely happened, and replaced the coupling quickly. He also took the time to explain a few other things about the machine--for example, I didn't know it was self-leveling! And I didn't know you have to hit "reset" when you change the size of the washer load. That alone was worth the price of admission.:) Possibly best of all, Jim told me the machine I have is one of the best-made washers out there and that it should last me many more years. He'll be the first one I call if I ever need an appliance repaired

AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE SERVICE
It was a great experience. Being without a washer/dryer is a big impact to me. I just recently had Sears replace the air blower in the dryer and it really did not help anything. It took one week for Sears to come out and another week to get the part. When the dryer stopped working shortly after Sears 'fixed' it, I decided to contact another company. I called Affordable Appliance around 9AM and they were at my home by 2:30PM the same day (they gave an arrival timeframe of between 2-5). They fixed the dryer that same day and it works even better than after Sears worked on it. And their cost was extremely reasonable (ALOT less than Sears)! Same day service, great prices and the fact that they actually fixed my problem would make me call them again when I need an appliance repair

A 1 Appliance Repair
Brooke was great. I calledat justafter 8 am Monday morning and he arrived an hour later. He informed me that my dryer needed a new motor but since it was 9 years old andhad no other repairs, he was concerned I would spend close to $300and something else might go wrong in a month or two. He gave me some time to look at prices on new dryers. When I decidedto go ahead with the repair, he picked up a new motor and came back later. He said he would be back about 6:00 pm and actually called about 4pm to say he was on his way back. He did the repair in about an hour and everything was great. Ver\y fair price and very professional. Brooke wants repeat business not just quick repairs so he treats people right

Economic Appliance Service
I was home sick with the kids so I wanted it done that day. We called and they we out in a couple of hours. They carried the part on the truck. We knew what was wrong, but just didn't know how to replace it. We also called another company on an 800#. The told us we would have a service call to diagnose the problem. And then second visit to have the part replaced. We told them what was wrong, but that made no difference. As you can imagine this appointment was canceled. Lesson learned: Deal with local businesses

Dryer stopped heating. Called provider on Monday morning and he agreed to requested Tuesday AM appointment. He called just before appointment and arrived as promised. He had the replacement part with him and promptly finished the work. The dryer is heating again. We found this provider to be very professional and easy to work with. We would ask him to repair other items as needed in the future

Northwest Appliance
We arrived home from Spring Break to a side by side fridge/freezer that was WARM. Not cool or chilly, warm. After throwing everything out and cleaning up the mess, we searched Angie's List and found Northwest Appliance. I called them at 8am Monday morning and was told that someone would be out that day. At 12:15, Jeff called and said he would be at our home in five minutes. He arrived with a part in his hand and got right to work. Jeff was very friendly and professional - he even vacuumed up the dust bunnies from under the fridge. The repair was done and he was on his way in less than 40 minutes. We were able to use the $10 Angie's List coupon (yay!) and he recommended to not restock the fridge for at least 24 hours

I called Aero and within 15 minutes a service tech called me back to get details. Whenever a tech was in my area they were to call me. Once the tech called, he arrived within 15 minutes and finished repair quickly. Service charges were explained over the phone before they came out. Great job.

Complete Appliance Service
On Monday morning I found their website through a google search & was able to set up an appt onlline for tues afternoon within the window I desired. I hate talking to people on the phone and loved that I could give all my info through the online submission form. The technician who would be performing my repair called me 30mins after I submitted my info to verify everything. Showed up within the time window in a company vehicle and in uniform. He was clear about the estimated cost of repair and the final price had no hidden cost. He had the part on his truck so i didn't have to wait for it to come in. I paid with a credit card and he was able to swipe it on a handheld device so he didnt have to copy down my account # and i got an email payment confirmation immediately. I felt that this was the most impressive part of the visit because I felt very secure in using my credit card
