Central Ohio Appliance Repair
They really stuck it out for me with this ridiculous LG product! The ice maker broke within a year of purchase, but I could not reach any one at LG and it was during the busy holidays so it was then outside the warranty. COAP replaced it but it stopped working again. They replaced it a second time, but same issue. They sent out their trouble shooter and he figured out the problem was with the freezer switch. They are very courteous and I will use them again! Thank you

Jim came the same day I called him regarding control panel problems with my LG steam washer. He ran diagnostics and also found another issue with the drum not spinning properly. He immediately called to order the necessary part for the control panel which had to be shipped from Denver. Within a week he had received the part and came back to complete the repairs to the control panel and the drum. When he left for another appointment, he asked me to run a load of laundry to be sure everything was working correctly. He followed up with a call to me later that day to confirm that the washer was now working properly. He was very nice; very professional. I would not hesitate to call him again if needed

A&E Factory Service
Technician was knowledgeable and helpful. He did an excellent job. The problem is this company, which is aligned with Sears. I received a barrage of emails and text messages from both companies. After the technician's visit (which was overpriced), Sears emailed me having automatically scheduled me for a visit in two weeks for an "annual appliance check-up" visit. I did NOT schedule this visit. And the emails are "no reply," so it was hard to cancel it. SCAM and UPSELLING. AVOID this company

A 1 Appliance Repair
I called to have A-1 Appliance come out to repair my new (less than two years) LG dryer. I had researched the problem online and indicated that I thought it was something to do with the main computer board. I described to him how the machine was not working; it would turn on and light up but I could not choose a setting - He said he would come out later in his already busy schedule to make a diagnostic. I received a call just after lunch time, and he stated that he had done some looking online and figured out that my Child Lock had somehow been set. (Funny, it locks out older folks as well!) He walked me through the process of un-locking the setting and I was on my way to washing and drying within minutes. I would definitely refer A-1 Appliance to anyone - Honesty and Integrity go a long way - Thank

LG washer stopped working. Called him asking if he could come out same day to look at. He couldn't initially, but asked questions about it to further define the problem. He called later to let us know that he had a cancellation and wanted to see if he could come over. He looked at the washer and did diagnostics to determine a failed pump. He had the right part with him and got it fixed in less than an hour. He explained the problem and showed us how to better maintain it. He was very courteous and respectful. It was a pleasure and well worth the money

Job well- done! I had a leaking washer and I searched on Angie's List for a repairman. The first place I called had a $79.95 service call fee. I felt this was excessive and called Jim who is the owner and technician of Appliance Pro. His fee was $49.95 and there is an Angie's List discount! I called him yesterday at 4pm and he was able to come today at 3 pm. I needed an appointment after 3:00 pm and he was able to make that work as well. Jim called before he arrived and was prompt. He found the problem with my washer immediately. He didn't have the part on hand but he went to pick it up and installed it. After putting the washer back together, he asked if I would like him to clean up the water that had leaked. Very professional. All of this took less than 2 hours. His price was extremely reasonable and fair. He also let me know that he guarantees his work and the parts for a year which in an incredible warranty. There is a funny piece to this story. When Jim worked for another local repair company, he was out to fix my refrigerator ! I thought he looked familiar when he walked in the door and once we got to talking , I realized he had been here before. Small world. He made the decision to go out on his own and I am happy to recommend him. Jim is very experienced, reliable, capable , and reasonable. I won't hesitate to call him again in the future

Mr. Appliance of Columbus
My LG refrigerator died 2 days before Christmas and I used this company because I was desperate and of all the companies I called, they could get me in the fastest. Booking the appointment went pretty smoothly but that's when it all fell apart. The Technician that came was not particularly friendly and was only there for 10 minutes tops. He didn't use any test equipment to diagnose the problem, he just took some of the cover panels off and looked inside. He told me that the unit could not be fixed and that I should call LG because it was only 5 years old. I did call LG and they sent their own tech out and they found that the problem was with the compressor which they replaced and now the refrigerator works just fine. When I called to complain I was told that since my refrigerator was still under warranty, they could not do the work because they cannot do LG warranty repair. That is not what the technician told me. He told me "it could not be fixed". When I made the appointment, I told them this this was an LG product. Now maybe they could not know for sure if my unit was still under warranty but I feel like they should have known that it might be a possibility and if this company cannot do warranty repair work, I should have been told that up front and I was not told that. I basically paid this company $80 for them to tell me to call someone else. I will never use them again

The Appliance Guy Service LLC
He has a lot of experience. Before starting work, he said he thought he knew what the problem was. And he was right. He showed me the defective part, explained its function, and replaced it. He showed me the parts list from LG, including their price. He also showed me a function of the washing machine that wasn't in the manual. Finally, I asked him to take a quick look at the dishwasher that was not properly anchored to the cabinets. He quickly figured out how to properly attach it, moved a couple of screws, and didn't charge anything for solving an annoying problem. I'm very impressed by Andrew. He knows what he's doing and he knows how to take care of customers. I had read some of the earlier reviews, and thought maybe they were overstated, but now I know he's as good as they said

A&E Factory Service
We had an excellent experience. However, the A and E service tech came from a service center located on Nelson Road in Columbus not Youngstown. A web search shows that the Nelson Road address matches the location for the area Sears Service Center. Turns out A and E is really Sears Factory Service under a new name. Since Sears has many service centers, I guess the experience will depend on who the tech is and from what location he/she comes. In our case the service was totally hassle free. At the end of the service call the tech ask us to do a survey to rate our experience. A few days later, we got a separate call asking us to evaluate our service. I am not sure if the quality of service depends on who sold you the appliance and extended warranty. In our case we dealt with Home Depot which has always provided go service on products we have purchased from them. I will continue to use this company for the length of the extended warranty. However, given the number of negative comments for this company on Angies List and on the web in general I will probably use a top rated independent service provider after the warranty runs out

He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me and even showed me how to run codes on my washer and told me about common problems that happen and how to fix them. I will definitely use Appliance Pro again and refer them to friends

My LG front load washer stopped spinning during the spin cycle and gave a LE error. Spoke with Jim by phone about the issue and he was at my house within 2 hours of my initial call. He quickly diagnosed the issue, had the part on hand and had the repair done very quickly. He was extremely professional and took his time in explaining the issue and repair. His prices were very reasonable. He even gave me a few minutes of his time to allow me to vacuum behind the stacked washer/dryer before pushing it back into place. On his way out, I asked him about another issue I had with my refrigerator and he took a few minutes to offer some suggestions I might try before having him come back out to service the unit. I've had other companies come out for service calls and Jim is the best by far. I would highly recommend Jim for any appliance repair
